Comedian Hari Kondabolu to Perform at the Charleston Music Hall in May
Comedian Hari Kondabolu will bring his new hour of stand-up to the Charleston Music Hall on Monday, May 15th at 8 pm. Tickets are on sale now.
Kondabolu is a Queens-raised, Brooklyn-based comedian and writer praised as “one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up” by The New York Times. He has performed on Comedy Central, Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Late Show with David Letterman, and on stages around the world. A public radio favorite, Hari has been a guest on Fresh Air, Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Code Switch and is a regular panelist on Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me.
Kondabolu is on tour this spring and summer in support of his newest comedy special “Vacation Baby,” which will be available for viewing on YouTube on April 18th (you can watch the preview below).
He’s previously released two chart-topping comedy albums, a Netflix comedy special, “Warn Your Relatives, which made a number of “Best Of ” lists, and is known for being a writer and correspondent for the Chris Rock-produced TV series Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and as co-host of “Snack vs Chef” on Netflix. Hari’s critically-acclaimed documentary, “The Problem with Apu,” about the stereotypical character on The Simpsons created a global conversation about race and representation which continue to this day.
