Charleston Hope Announces Fundraiser and New Mission to Increase Mental Health Programs in High-Poverty Schools
Charleston Hope says they are committed to removing the barriers of poverty so that all students can thrive. With their new mission and vision statement, the organization aims to strengthen their efforts in increasing access to mental and behavioral health programs in schools.
The event on April 20th will be held at The Harbor Club and attendees can expect to learn about Charleston Hope’s programs; listen to a keynote talk from Emily Kerr, the Executive Director; and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about education and mental health.
The funds raised during the event will directly impact Charleston Hope’s efforts in increasing mental health services and after-school programs in Title 1 schools, providing critical resources and support to students who need it the most.
“We are excited to unveil our new mission and vision statement at this event and share our commitment to increasing mental health access to students in high-poverty schools,” said Emily Kerr, Executive Director of Charleston Hope. “With the generous support of our community, we can continue to expand our programs and ensure our students have the support they need to thrive.”
