Recipe: Make Dixie Vodka’s Honey Buzz Cocktail at Home
Charleston-based Dixie Vodka says the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day, April 22nd, is to make their Honey Buzz cocktail. The libation uses Dixie’s Wildflower Honey Vodka as well as Savannah Bee Company’s Bee Cause Honey, both of which donate a portion of their proceeds to The Bee Cause Project, an organization that helps fund the installation of bee observation hives in schools across America to teach coming generations how to love and protect these precious pollinators.If you’d like to make the cocktail at home, follow the provided recipe:
Honey Buzz
1.5 oz. Dixie Honey Vodka
0.5 oz. The Bee Cause Savannah Bee Honey
0.75 oz. lemon juice
Honeycomb Garnish
Combine Dixie Honey Vodka, honey syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with honeycomb and enjoy.
