Charleston Symphony Orchestra League Announces its Award-Winning Symphony Tour of Homes
“She guards her edifices, customs, and laws” – Charleston’s motto will be epitomized by The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL) 2023 Symphony Tour of Homes – Historic Charleston. A self-guided tour in downtown Charleston will include edifices dating from Charleston’s historic period which exemplify the Holy City’s custom of restoring, revising, and repurposing its homes and buildings.
The 2023 Symphony Tour of Homes will be held on Saturday, May 20th. A variety of exquisite homes and buildings will showcase downtown Charleston’s charming neighborhoods. Architectural gems on the tour will highlight historical and architectural details, interior design and décor.
Over the past 25 years, the CSOL Symphony Tour of Homes, held in Kiawah and Charleston, have become annual destinations for visitors to the Lowcountry. The Symphony Tour of Homes would not be complete without music. As with previous tours, this tour will feature Charleston Symphony musicians and student musicians, many of whom are previous CSOL scholarship winners. The tour will have docents available at the sites s to guide and inform guests. The homes will be open, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Symphony Tour of Homes is supported by donors, sponsors and more than 125 CSOL members and community volunteers. Ticket prices are $65 advance and $70 day of the tour. $150 Friends tickets are also available. Purchase of a Friends Ticket includes 2 Tour tickets and a donation for CSOL Music Scholarships, with donor’s name appearing in tour booklet.
Another opportunity to support the CSOL is offered via a the CSOL’s 2023 Car Raffle. This year’s raffle includes a Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid SUV as the grand prize. The 2nd prize is a Big Green Egg and 3rd prize is a $1000.00 American Express Gift Card. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the Tour of Homes, where the car will be on display, or they can be purchased on the CSOL website. The winner of the car has the option to enjoy the versatility of the Ford Escape or to apply $46,000 toward any Palmetto Ford vehicle.
Proceeds from the Tour and Raffle will the CSOL scholarship and music education for students throughout the Lowcountry.
