Moonlight Mixers Series Returns to the Folly Pier Starting on May 5th

After a three-year hiatus, the Moonlight Mixer series on the Folly Beach Pier returns this summer. The first dance since 2020 will be held on May 5th at the newly reopened Folly Beach Pier.

All ages are invited to celebrate summertime with some dancing on the Folly Beach Pier. On three Friday evenings this summer, DJ John Dixon will spin some of the best oldies and beach music for attendees to enjoy. Event hours are 7 pm to 10:30 pm.

Admission purchased in advance is $8 per person; on-site tickets will be $10 per person, if the event has not sold out. Tickets are limited and the events are expected to sell out, so advance purchase is recommended.

The 2023 Moonlight Mixers schedule is as follows:

• May 5th
• June 16th
• July 7th

Beverages will be available for purchase on site. No outside food or beverage is allowed, and pets are not permitted at the event. Food and snacks will be available for purchase at the Pier 101 Restaurant and the Gangplank Gift & Tackle Shop, both located at the entrance to the pier. Food, beverages and any parking fees are not included with ticket purchase. Chairs are welcome as seating is limited.
