Seasonal job openings are also available for summer camps, the Charleston Tennis Center, and city pools, including jobs as recreation leaders, tennis instructors, and lifeguards. Applicants for these positions must be 16 years old by May 15th.
There are also summer internships available for youth or college-aged students interested in working 20 hours a week for eight weeks. Candidates for these positions must be 15 years old by May 15th.
There will be computers on site where attendees can fill out a job application during the fair.
Attendees who park in the Gaillard Center Parking Garage, located at 33 Alexander Street, can pick up two-hour free parking vouchers at the Job Fair registration table.
There will also be raffle tickets provided for giveaways.
“The men and women of the City of Charleston are some of the finest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing,” Mayor John Tecklenburg said. “So, if you’d like to join our team, I hope you’ll come out to the Gaillard Center on April 26th to learn more about all we have to offer.”
