Sorelle Announces New Spring Menu and Updated Hours
Sorelle (88 Broad Street) today announced the launch of their new spring menu. In addition to new dishes, the downtown restaurant also said it will add dinner service on Monday evenings beginning on May 8th.
Chef Nick Dugan’s new menu includes the addition of springtime ingredients, like artichokes, green garlic, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, and yellow wax beans. Chef Dugan said he is particularly excited about his Melazana Antipasti, which pairs fire-roasted eggplant with Sicilian tomato vinaigrette, ricotta, and basil buds. Other menu highlights include the Asparagus Insalata with mozzarella di Bufala and green garlic dragoncello, semolina crouton, and balsamico; Artichoke Alla Romana with olive oil-braised artichokes, toasted parmesan, and pinzomonio; and Grilled Lamb Chops with sweet pepper stew and Prosciutto di Parma. The menu also spotlights three new pastas – the Fazzoletti, pasta glazed in pistachio pesto; Lorighittas with suckling pig ragu and pecorino Romano; and the Mafaldine, a play on linguine with clams.
The new menu is available for dinner in the bar and dining room. Sorelle is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm, and beginning May 8th, will add dinner service on Monday nights. Reservations are available on their website, SorelleCharleston.com . For more information, call 843-974-1575 or follow @sorelle_chs on Instagram.
