Moranz Entertainment’s All-New “American Jukebox 2” Celebrates the Hits of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s
Twenty of the country’s most talented performers will bring hits from the Eagles, Neil Diamond, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, and many more to the Charleston Music Hall for a summertime show.
Produced by Moranz Entertainment, “American Jukebox 2” will have three shows only on July 8th and July 9th. This show features more than two dozen sing-along-hits from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
“We received so much great feedback from last summer’s ‘American Jukebox,’” Brad Moranz said. “Everyone really loved the performances, so we thought, ‘There’s so much great music from these decades, let’s find 30 more songs we haven’t done!’”
Brad and Jennifer Moranz have created an entirely new show of classic hits, beloved Broadway tunes, comedy skits, and dance numbers that will have audiences tapping their toes and singing along.
“This music is just so timeless,” Brad Moranz said. “The hardest part is narrowing down the show so it’s not six hours long! But we’ve done it, and we know audiences will be blown away by the talent in this all-new production.”
Bringing the hits to life are singers Brett Benowitz, Jenna Flaherty, Crystal Garrett, Michael Minor, Michelle Rogers, Manny Houston, and Tiffany Parker.
Garrett will perform Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” Minor will sing Neil Diamond’s “Cherry Cherry,” as well as tackling what might be his most impressive ventriloquist performance yet: Johnny Cash’s “I’ve Been Everywhere.”
Houston will perform Steve Wonder’s “For Once in My Life” while Parker wows with Celine Dion’s “The Power Of Love.” Flaherty will bring “The Little Mermaid” classic, “Part of Your World” to life on the Music Hall stage. Michelle Rogers will bring some country flair to the show with a performance of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”
Plus, favorites from Broadway’s “Grease” and “Chicago” along with a medley of James Taylor songs are all part of this brand-new show.
“American Jukebox 2” showtimes are 2 pm and 7 pm on Saturday, July 8th, and at 3 pm on Sunday, July 3rd. All performances are at the Charleston Music Hall.
Tickets are $42 for adults; $39 for seniors/military; $24 for students; and $21 for children 12 and under (plus ticketing fees). Purchase tickets online at bradandjennifermoranz.com or in person at the Charleston Music Hall Box office Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, and by phone 843-416-8453.
