She’s the Veteran to be Honored During RiverDogs’ Military Appreciation Night

She’s the Veteran, a women veteran’s only community, this week announced that they will be honored at Military Appreciation Night at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on May 17th. Founder Brooke Jackson-Kahn has been nominated for the RiverDogs Hall of Honor, so she will be a part of the pregame festivities.

She’s the Veteran is a 3-year old nonprofit, dedicated to creating awareness of the almost 2 million women veterans currently or previously serving in the military and provide these often unrecognized veterans with activities, referrals, and support.

Military Appreciate Night at the Joe honors soldiers and their families and recognizes them for the dedication, commitment, and sacrifices they have made for our nation.
