Family-Friendly Pizza Restaurant to Replace Kiki & Rye in Mt. Pleasant
BarPizza, the latest restaurant from Ryan and Kelleanne Jones of Free Reign Restaurants, is set to open this Wednesday in Mt. Pleasant. The concept will be located in the space previously occupied by Kiki & Rye.
The Joneses opened Kiki & Rye mid-pandemic and despite having success, have decided to switch concepts to better accommodate what they feel are the needs of the surrounding neighborhood. The owners says BarPizza will be a casual, family-friendly restaurant that includes an arcade room for kids, a pool table for parents, 6 TVs, yard games, and more.
The menu will feature wood-fired pizza as well as salads, pasta, sandwiches, and soft serve ice cream. A full bar will serve on-draft cocktails, beer, and wine as well as fancy milkshakes (alcoholic and n/a).
Located at 656G Long Point Road, in the Belle Hall Shopping Center, BarPizza will be open for dining service seven days a week from 11 am to 9 pm starting on May 10th.
The husband-and-wife team behind Free Reign Restaurants also owns Community Table in I’On and Southbound on Cannon Street in downtown Charleston.
