SC Works Trident to Host Disability Expo and Job Fair

SC Works Trident will host a Disability Expo and Job Fair to connect job-seekers with the region’s top employers on Thursday, May 18th from 10:30 am to 12 pm at Berkeley-Dorchester Vocational Rehabilitation Center, located at 2954 S. Live Oak Drive in Moncks Corner.

The event, which aims to remove barriers to employment for job-seekers facing additional challenges, will feature representatives from top regional employers, including Thorne, Addus Homecare, DialAmerica, Dorchester County Government, Premiere Building Maintenance Corp., Roper St. Francis Healthcare, Event Partners Incorporated, First Student, Key Logistics Solutions, LLC & ARD Logistics, LLC, Cintas Corporation, Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Clark’s Termite & Pest Control, Asrcfederal, Venture Aerobearings, Palmetto Goodwill, CVS Pharmacy, Community Options, and more.

In addition to regional employers, several community resource organizations will be on-hand to provide valuable information about benefits, job training, and more.

“At SC Works Trident, we’re proud to provide individualized assistance to jobseekers to help them overcome any barriers they may face,” said SC Works Trident Workforce Development Director Sharon Goss. “Events like the Disability Expo facilitate connections with employers eager to hire new talent and provide equal opportunities for our workforce to succeed.”

Attendees should plan to bring copies of an up-to-date resume with them to the event.
