Seven Charleston County Fishing Captains Named Among the Best in the World

Every quarter, FishingBooker, a platform connecting anglers and fishing guides, announces its Angler’s Choice Award. This recognition acknowledges charter operators for their exceptional customer service, reliability, and quality of fishing trips. This is the first time that special recognition was given to guides who have won the award three times in a row. Out of 7,242 captains who partner with FishingBooker, only 576, or 8%, were recognized for their excellence 3 times – and 7 of them run their trips from Charleston County.

Back in January FishingBooker named Charleston one of the Best Fishing Cities in the US.

Here is a list of fishing captains in Charleston County that received the Angler’s Choice Award 3 times in a row (ranked in alphabetical order):

To be eligible for the award, the charter operators had to meet the following criteria over the past 12 months:

• 4.8+ out of 5-star review rating from 10+ verified reviews

• 98% reliability score and response rate

• Full business verification
