Her wearable art began with cotton origami jackets consisting of 6 separate squares of fabric sewn together, and through folding and minimal cutting, the squares evolved into a swing jacket with raglan sleeves. care for the environment, LuAnne repurposes vintage clothing into sling purses, long, multi-paneled knit vests, bow ties and hand-dyed silk scarves.
Raquel Quiroz is a fiber artisan originally from Peru living in Charleston, SC. Raquel designs all of her beautifully knitted and crocheted works of art into knitted garments, accessories and sweet, lovely dolls. She infuses contemporary style into centuries-old traditions passed down through her family for generations.
Regina Semko creates decorative, sculptural pieces handcrafted using traditional Origami and Kirigami cutting techniques. By using various papers, including Japanese Chiyogami and rice papers, high quality gift wrap, and recycled paper, she produces beautiful sculptural showpieces, and playful jewelry.
Fairoozan Abdullah is a paper artist and illustrator from Baghdad, Iraq. Her craft technique is known as Quilling. Using the paper quilling technique, she draws with paper instead of on paper.
