Jimmy Eat World to Play the Music Farm in September
On Thursday, September 28th, rock band Jimmy Eat World will perform at the Music Farm with special guests The Pauses. Tickets are on sale now.
Since its inception in 1993, Jimmy Eat World has grown from its emo/pop-punk roots into an alternative/pop-rock outfit with fans of all ages. The four-piece’s commercial breakthrough came in 2001 with the release of several singles from their album Bleed American, four of which charted within the top 20 positions of the Alternative Songs chart, with “The Middle” reaching No. 1. Their follow-up album, Futures (2004), featured the No. 1 song “Pain.” The band is also know for songs like “Sweetness,” “Bleed American,” “Work,” “My Best Theory,” and “Big Casino.”
Recently, they’ve released two independent singles, “Something Loud” and “Place Your Debts,” with the former charting 21 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay.
