Krystal England Joins TMGOC as Chief Investment Officer
TMGOC, a partnership between The Montford Group and Opterra Capital, today announced the addition of Krystal England as the joint venture’s Chief Investment Officer.
England brings extensive development lending and institutional knowledge to her new role and a wealth of hospitality acquisitions and asset management experience across US markets and all hospitality industry segments.
As Chief Investment Officer, England (right) will lead efforts to negotiate JV partner relations, navigate the debt markets, broaden the firm’s stable of investors, and continue the company’s growth in the Southeast and westward expansion to Colorado, Arizona, Utah and beyond. She has established an Aspen, Colorado, office for TMGOC.
Before joining the TMGOC team, England served as Managing Director for Canyon Partners Real Estate in Los Angeles, where she was responsible for originating, structuring, and closing the firm’s hospitality and mixed-use real estate investments nationwide, as well as overseeing the asset management of the company’s hospitality investments.
“With more than a decade of hands-on experience leading hospitality and real estate investments, Ms. England will serve TMGOC Ventures well in her role as Chief Investment Officer,” Opterra Capital Founder and CEO Glenn Alba said. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team and look forward to continuing TMGOC’s growth trajectory.”
“With a pipeline of nearly $650 million coming to fruition over the next couple of years, a seasoned industry expert like Ms. England is a natural addition to the growing TMGOC team,” The Montford Group. Founder and CEO Sunju Patel said. “There’s no question that her development and industry experience will be an enormous asset, and we’re pleased to welcome her on board.”
