Charleston Pride Events Begin This Weekend

Charleston Pride Festival, Inc. has announced upcoming events for Pride Month. Charleston Pride is a non-profit headquarted in the Charleston tri-county. It provides a safe space in North Charleston for the LGBTQIA community and plans educational, fun, and safe events throughout the year including the annual festival.

Schedule of events:

1. June 2 at 7:30 p: Charleston Battery Pride Night at Patriots Point (Family Friendly)
2. June 3 at 9:00 a: Charleston Pride Parade on King St. (Family and Pet Friendly)
3. June 3 at Noon: Frontier Lounge Pride Party ft. Mercy Madison, Venus Alexander, Paris LeFaris, and Pride Empress Kymmya Starr (21+)
4. June 3 at Noon: Palmetto Brewing Parade After Party (Family and Pet Friendly)
5. June 3 at 3 pm: The Official Charleston Pride Bar Crawl hosted by Blue Steel Promotions. Checkin by 3 at Uptown Social and also featuring Ink, Republic, Silver Dollar, Deco, Dudley’s, and more! (21+)
6. June 4 at Noon: Venus Alexander’s Ladies of Trio Drag Brunch featuring Mercy Madison, Symone N O’Bishop, Carmella Monet Monrow, Victoria Vixen, DJ Trevor D and Ru Paul’s Drag Race alum, Thorgy Thor! (21+)
7. June 4 at 2 p: Edmunds Oast and Patti O’Furniture’s Drag Brunch featuring Diamond Giovanni, the Charleston Pride Court (Kymmya Starr, Jonlly St. Martin, and Don Javi), and former Miss Continental Tomi Ross! (Family Friendly)
8. June 10 at 8 p: Fierce & Frothy Charleston Pride Blue Party featuring Avaria Kass, Ava Clear, Kymmya Starr, Beau O’Bishop, Diamond Giovanni, Medusa Chaos, and DJ Crystal Guysir! (21+)
9. June 25 at 11 a: Sharehouse Pride Brunch featuring Brooke Collins, Kymmya Starr, Shariese Ses Pieces, Kylee Lovely, DJ Trevor D, and Venus Alexander! (21+)
10. June 24 at 8 p: Purple Party at Dudley’s on Ann featuring Brooke Collins
