The SCEA Welcomes Dr. Marcella Wine-Snyder as Teaching and Learning Specialist

COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina Education Association (The SCEA) announced today that Dr. Marcella Wine-Snyder is joining The SCEA’s all-star team as a Teaching and Learning Specialist.
Dr. Wine-Snyder brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new role.
In her three decades in public education, Dr. Wine-Snyder has served as a classroom teacher, administrator, and has spent the last fifteen years working with The Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement (CERRA), overseeing the Center’s Pre-Collegiate Programs (ProTeam, Teacher Cadets, College Partners) and its out-of-state network.
As a Teaching and Learning Specialist, Dr. Wine-Snyder will work closely with The SCEA’s Center for Educator Wellness and Learning (CEWL). This collaboration will leverage her expertise in instructional strategies, curriculum development, and teacher support to create comprehensive programs tailored specifically to the needs of South Carolina educators.

Dr. Wine-Snyder’s collaboration with national partners will further enhance the CEWL’s scope and state-wide impact. By partnering with national, state, and local stakeholders, The SCEA aims to provide South Carolina educators with world-class professional programs that meets the highest standards of excellence.
