“Beach Drop for Sea Turtles” Fundraiser Returns to Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge
Coastal Expeditions, in partnership with the Coastal Expeditions Foundation, today announced their annual fundraiser, “Beach Drop for Sea Turtles” be held on Sunday, July 2nd. This event aims to raise funds and awareness for the Sea Turtle Nest Protection Program, a vital conservation effort within Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
The event features a wildlife boat tour through the scenic Cape Romain, culminating in a visit to the pristine south end of Bulls Island, where the world of sea turtles comes to life.
Led by Coastal Expeditions owner Capt. Chris Crolley, attendees will embark on a beach walk to learn about the extraordinary journey of loggerheads, their nesting habits, and the vital conservation efforts underway to protect their habitats.
