Website: South Carolina Ranks Among the Most Stressed States in the US
CBD oil products company CBDfx recently released a report on the most stressed states in the US and they ranked South Carolina as being the 7th most stressed in the country. To come up with the ranking, the company analyzed data from the United Health Foundation’s American Health Rankings.
The study found that West Virginia had the highest mental and physical distress rate, making it the most stressed state. The data reports that 17.5% of citizens suffer from frequent mental distress, and 15.8% of citizens suffer from frequent physical distress. Combining these statistics, it scores 99.16 out of 100 on the ‘stress score’.
Using the same methodology, South Dakota is the ‘least stressed’ of any state, with just 9.4% of citizens reporting frequent mental distress and 7.9% reporting suffering from frequent physical distress.
