Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Blast will return this year and will include food trucks, fireworks, and live music.

On July 4th, starting at 6 pm, guests are invited to a free party landside of the historic World War II aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. This event does not require a ticket, however parking at Patriots Point for the day will be $20 per vehicle. Due to limited space, visitors are encouraged to arrive early.

In addition to landside viewing, admission to the Yorktown’s flight deck will be available for purchase as an enhanced viewing option. Tickets for the flight deck will cost $25 per person and include access to the ship at 8 pm and a complimentary bottle of water. Orders are limited to six tickets per person. Seating is not provided; guests with flight deck passes are encouraged to bring chairs. Personal food and drinks are not permitted on the ship. Tickets can be purchased here.

The fireworks show will begin at full sunset, typically around 9:20 pm.

“Independence Day at Patriots Point is a can’t-miss event,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Allison Hunt. “We’re excited to continue this tradition and welcome folks from around the world and our local families who want to enjoy the 4th of July at one of the most patriotic places you can find.”

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will be open for regular museum touring from 9 am until 5 pm on July 4th, 2023. The last tickets will be sold at 4 pm.
