Folly Beach’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show Canceled
The Folly Association of Business (FAB), the organization that executes the fireworks displays on Folly Beach, today announced that due to “exceptionally high tides at dusk on the Fourth of July,” the fireworks display has been canceled.
According to FAB, there will not be enough area on the beach for the pyrotechnics trailer and the surrounding set-up needed to execute the display. The organization says they have investigated alternative sites on the beach, but none can be utilized without violating safety clearance regulations.
