Charleston County Parks to Host Inclusive Prom on August 12th
The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission invites all members of the community with disabilities to the annual Inclusive Prom on August 12th.
Attendees will have the opportunity to dress up and dance the night away “under the sea” at this prom held in an inclusive environment. The prom will run from 6 pm to 8 pm at the R.L Jones Center, located on 391 Egypt Road in Mount Pleasant.
DJ Nick Zareski with Lowcountry Entertainment will spin a variety of tracks at the prom and corsages will be available for all participants, courtesy of Charleston Flower Market.
Tickets are $4 per person in advance or $5 at the door if they are available. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended. Chaperones are required, but are free with a participant registration.
