Hill at Dorchester County Knightsville Convenience Center Temporarily Closed

The hill at the Dorchester County Knightsville Convenience Center located at 1941 Central Ave., Summerville is temporarily closed until further notice due to damage to the site.
Due to this closure, the county encourage residents to drop off metals and white goods to B&D Metal Recyclers located at 1745 Orangeburg Rd., Summerville. Please be advised that there is no cost to residents for dropping metal off at B&D Metal Recyclers. Brown goods and C&D (Construction and Demolition Debris) will continue to be accepted at the Knightsville Convenience Center through the use of additional 30 yd. containers located at the rear of the facility.
Residents are also encouraged to use the Oakbrook Convenience Site located at 235 Old Fort Dr., Ladson to dispose of metals, white and brown goods, and C&D.
