20th Annual Carolina Children’s Charity Run/Walk Scheduled for September 23rd
The Carolina Children’s Charity will host the 20th Annual care • give • run 5K Partial Trail Run & Family Fun Walk on Saturday, September 23rd at Palmetto Islands County Park. The event benefits Lowcountry children with birth defects and childhood diseases.
In addition to the run and walk, the event includes family activities, jump castles, local mascot appearances, live music, a food truck, an ice cream truck, games, and more. Prizes will be awarded for many of the 39 Run categories, and some Walk team prizes too.
Carolina Children’s Charity (CCC) was founded in 1987 to help local children who have challenging medical needs related to their diagnoses, gain access to services deemed medically necessary and medically beneficial and to enhance their growth and development. CCC provides grants allowing children facing obstacles to access needed therapy, medical equipment, medical care, medications, and more.
