Press Release
Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services (PALS) is now open and serving families in Clemson and Charleston. Co-Owners, Ashleigh Langheim and Liz Hiller founded PALS in 2023 with the belief that with collaboration and consultation, they can empower parents and guardians to become the best advocates for their children. Palmetto Assessments & Learning Services offers evaluations for Specific Learning Disabilities for Reading (Dyslexia), Writing (Dysgraphia), and Math (Dyscalculia), in addition to evaluations for Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, and Giftedness.
Ashleigh Langheim, a Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist, will be managing the Charleston office, with a location in Mount Pleasant. Ashleigh is a South Carolina Board of Education Certified School Psychologist II and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She is a strong Science of Reading advocate and believes literacy is a human right.
Ashleigh shares, “I am committed to assisting families to better navigate the school system with learning differences and disabilities. A comprehensive evaluation, coupled with the knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practices, can change a student’s trajectory, by unlocking true academic potential and addressing mental health.”
Palmetto Assessments offers complimentary initial consultations for parents who are seeking more information about services. Co-owners, Ashleigh and Liz are also committed to keeping their assessment fees low to help eliminate the financial barrier of quality evaluations.
