Local Nonprofit We Are Family Offers Programming for Youth Ages 10 and Under
Tri-County-based nonprofit We Are Family offers affirming social support groups and mental health services to local LGBTQI+ youth. Now, the organization also offers KidSpace, a play group for youth aged 10 and younger, in partnership with The Play Therapy Center of Charleston and the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry.
KidSpace is a supportive and affirming play group facilitated by therapists. The group incorporates support services, advocacy tools, and a safe space to play with peers. Participants will also receive a membership to the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry.
