William Cogswell Officially Files to Run for Mayor of Charleston
Former Statehouse Representative and local businessman William Cogswell today officially filed his candidacy for Mayor of Charleston.
“We’re talking about getting our city back on track – smart growth, safe communities, and sound governance – and it is clearly resonating,” Cogswell said. “From phone calls to yard signs, the public outpouring of support shows we have all the momentum. Everywhere you look, you can see our residents coming together for new leadership and vision. By putting residents first, we can get Charleston moving in the right direction again.”
Cogswell is a lifelong Charleston resident that spent six years in the state legislature representing District 110. He has also been in the real estate industry for over 25 years.
