CARTA Officials Announce Additional Service Adjustments Related to Tropical Storm Idalia

CARTA officials continue to monitor the ongoing effects of Tropical Storm Idalia and announce additional service adjustments (details below). 

Due to the expected storm impacts, including high winds forecast for this evening, CARTA officials have announced the following additional service adjustments for Wednesday, August 30, 2023:

• Rt. 10- Last bus leaves Health South @ 7:50pm; last bus leaves Mary St. @ 7:20pm.

• Rt. 11- Last bus leaves Tanger Outlet at normal time, last bus leaves Mary St. @ 7:09 pm.

• Rt. 12- Last bus leaves Otranto @ 8:20pm; last bus leaves the SuperStop @ 7:00pm.

• Rt. 13- Last bus leaves Tanger Outlet @ 7:10pm, last bus leaves the SuperStop at normal time.

• Rt. 20- Last bus servicing the peninsula leaves Mt. Pleasant @ 7:19pm.

• Rt. 31- Last bus leaves Mary St. @ 6:35pm, last bus leaves the Harris Teeter @ 7:30pm.

• Rt. 32- Last bus leaves the SuperStop @ 7:30pm, last bus leaves the Citadel Mall @ 8:00pm.

• Rt. 33- Last bus leaves Mary St. @ 7:00pm, last bus leaves the Bees Ferry Bi-Lo @ 7:00pm.

• Rt. 104- Last bus leaves Tanger Outlet @ 7:40pm, last bus leaves the SuperStop @ 7:00pm.

• Rt. 210- Last loop is @ 6:51pm.

• Rt. 211- Last loop is @ 6:35pm.

• Rt. 213- Last loop is @ 7:05pm.

• Rt. 301- Last bus leaves the Citadel Mall @ 6:32pm, last bus leaves from Walmart @ 7:05pm.

Previously announced service adjustments:

• Rt. 41- Last bus leaves Mary St. @ 4:30pm; last bus leaves Stuart Engals Blvd. @ 5:15pm, arriving at Mary St. @5:55pm.

• Rt. 42- Last bus leaves @ 6:27pm.

• Rt. 40- Last bus leaves Mary St. @ 4:30pm; last bus leaves Hungry Neck @ 5:10pm, arriving at Mary St. @5:54pm.

• Rt. 30- Will still operate with one vehicle on an hourly schedule.

• Rt. 31 and Rt. 33- Will detour using Spring and Cannon streets to avoid using the James Island Connector.
