Maxine Smith Endorses Deon Tedder for State Senate District 42
Dr. Maxine Smith (above), an author and family advocate, recently endorsed Deon Tedder’s campaign for State Senate District 42.
“A seasoned attorney is needed to introduce bills and resolutions designed to protect and strengthen public schools, lead the charge for women’s rights, improve criminal justice practices and make gun safety a priority in the next legislative session,” said Dr. Smith. “Tedder’s undergraduate and law degrees have given him the tools to navigate working in the S.C. State Senate. His attendance record as a State Representative speaks volumes for his commitment to service as an elected official.”
