Dr. Melvin Brown III Endorses Deon Tedder For State Senate District 42
Dr. Melvin Brown III, MD, an Emergency Medicine Physician, Naval Academy graduate, Porter-Gaud School alumnus, and Navy Veteran, has endorsed Deon Tedder’s campaign for State Senate in District 42.
“The pandemic was a public health emergency that was not the finest hour for our country and our state,” said Dr. Brown. “As a physician on the front lines, I hope for leadership that can critically review data brought forth by the healthcare providers and researchers entrusted to guard us from said threats. I hope for leadership that can articulate my profession’s concerns in a crisis, and for our state’s public health needs as a member of our Senate Medical Affairs committee. I’ve known Deon for 3 years and in my opinion he’s the best candidate qualified to do so.”
