The Palmetto Hotel is Toasting the Trees with Angel’s Envy this September

For the remainder of September, The Palmetto Hotel Lobby Bar is partnering with Angel’s Envy to promote tree conservation and urban reforestation through the bourbon company’s Toast the Trees campaign.

Angel’s Envy has created a virtual reality experience in which guests can actively participate in tree planting using a dedicated app, contributing to both virtual and real-world reforestation efforts. For every cocktail sold at The Palmetto, a virtual oak tree will be planted, contributing to the preservation and growth of the White Oak population – a vital resource for the bourbon industry.

Bar guests can get their Old City Wall cocktail upgraded with either Elijah Craig Rye or Angel’s Envy Bourbon now through September 30th at no additional cost, and take home special Toast the Trees commemorative glassware, cocktail picks, and cork coasters. The Old City Wall is Bar Supervisor Koky Lòpez’s take on the classic Old Fashioned, made with vermouth, Maurin Quina, amaro, and black walnut bitters – is one of several creative signature cocktails served at The Palmetto Hotel.

The Lobby Bar is open to the public Monday-Thursday from 4-11 pm, Friday-Saturday from 11 a.-midnight and Sunday from 11 am-11 pm.
