RiverDogs to Meet Down East in Championship Series

The Charleston RiverDogs will battle the Down East Wood Ducks in the Carolina League Championship Series beginning Sunday at Grainger Stadium in Kinston, North Carolina. The RiverDogs took down the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in the South Division finals for the second year in a row and are aiming to win a third title in a row. Down East upended Carolina in the North Division finals on Friday night. The RiverDogs run to the championship is presented by Nucor Steel Berkeley.

The full schedule for the championship series is below:

Game 1: Charleston at Down East – Sunday, September 17th – 1:00 pm (Grainger Stadium)

Game 2: Down East at Charleston – Tuesday, September 19th – 7:05 pm (Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park)

Game 3 (if necessary): Down East at Charleston – Wednesday, September 20th – 7:05 pm (Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park)

Fans can take $3 off all tickets in the seating bowl for Tuesday’s game by entering the promo code “WIN”. Tickets are available here and at riverdogs.com. Thanks to Budweiser, it will be a Thirsty Tuesday at The Joe with $1 beers available throughout the ballpark.
