US Women’s Soccer Star Alex Morgan Announces Co-Ownership of Charleston-based Volley Tequila Seltzer

Professional soccer player and United States Women’s National Team captain Alex Morgan (above) this week unveiled her new co-ownership of Volley Tequila Seltzer, a Charleston-based company.

“This is a super exciting time,” said Morgan. “Volley is unlike anything else I’ve tried because of the focus Camila (Soriano) and Chris (Wirth) put on their ingredients. Their mission to build cleaner products and ingredient awareness is exactly why I wanted to get involved. Real ingredients just taste better.”

Volley Tequila Seltzer founders Camila Soriano and Christopher Wirth say they were motivated by the lack of transparency and authenticity on the ingredient panels of popular spirits and ready-to-drink cocktails. This led them to create Volley.

Volley Tequila Seltzer is made in Mexico from three ingredients: 100% blue agave highland tequila, organic fruit juice, and sparkling water. Volley Tequila Seltzer comes in four variations: Sharp Grapefruit, Spicy Ginger, Tropical Mango, and Zesty Lime.
