BarPizza in Mt. Pleasant Announces Closure

BarPizza, a restaurant from Ryan and Kelleanne Jones of Free Reign Restaurants, on Sunday announced that they have closed.

The owners made the announcement on social media, saying:

“Well this isn’t easy. After many months of deliberating what to do, the time has come for us to accept reality. We really tried hard to make something work in this location but it’s been an uphill battle since day 1 and we don’t have the fight in us anymore.

Thank you to everyone who has dined with us the last few years. We’ve made some great friends in this community and we hope to continue those friendships for many years to come.

BarPizza was located at 656G Long Point Road, in the Belle Hall Shopping Center. The space was previously occupied by Kiki & Rye, another Free Reign concept. The restaurant group’s other properties remain open – Community Table, Southbound, and Honeysuckle Rose.
