Dorchester School District Two Excels on South Carolina End-of-Course and Career Ready Assessments
Press Release
Dorchester School District Two’s (DDTwo) high-quality education outperformed state averages on the 2022-2023 South Carolina End-of-Course and Career Ready assessments.
DDTwo’s EOC and Career Ready data includes students from Ashley Ridge High School, Fort Dorchester High School, and Summerville High School.
Analysis of the EOC data indicates DDTwo continues to excel in the four subject areas: Algebra, Biology, English II, and U.S. History and the Constitution. Beyond exceeding the state averages, DDTwo saw improvements over the prior year in all subject areas.
Analysis of the Career Ready data indicates continued excellence compared to DDTwo students’ statewide peers. Nearly 80% of DDTwo students earned a Career Ready Credential, which is approximately 9% higher than the state average.
Superintendent Dr. Shane Robbins said, “These results illustrate that we are preparing students to succeed after graduation. Our commitment to continuous improvement ensures we will continue to develop skilled professionals and the future leaders across all fields.”
