Dorchester School District Two Hosts Bosch Meeting at Summerville High School’s Advanced Manufacturing Center
Dorchester School District Two hosted the annual Bosch Community Fund/Bosch Charleston Community Conversation at Summerville High School’s Advanced Manufacturing Center on September 13th.
Over the past two years, the Bosch Community Fund has awarded more than $125,000 directly to the Dorchester Two Educational Foundation to support DD2 teachers and students. Over 10 years, the Bosch Community Fund has awarded more than 2,600 grants totaling more than $42 million to schools and nonprofit organizations in the areas of STEM Education, Environmental Sustainability, eco+STEM, and Disaster Response.
Foundation Executive Director Ralph Hayes was on hand to share the progress of the Bosch grant supporting the installation of solar panels at the Fox Ridge Farm at Ashley Ridge High School.
After the discussion attendees were given the opportunity to tour the Advanced Manufacturing Center and learn about the different Career and Technical Education opportunities provided to DD2 students.
