Beyond BASIC Announces 5th Annual Disc Golf Fundraiser and “Bash Before the Disc” Celebration
Local nonprofit organization Beyond BASIC will host their 5th Annual “Beyond the Disc” disc golf fundraiser and “Bash Before the Disc” celebration in September. The events benefit the Beyond BASIC Life Skills program which helps adults with intellectual disabilities reach their full potential and to contribute meaningfully to society by providing a program that enables independent living skills.
On Friday, September 29th, the “Bash Before the Disc” will take place at the Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company from 5 pm to 8 pm. There will be live music, a silent auction, local handcrafted pottery, disc golf putting on the green, food, and drinks. $1 from all beers purchased will go to the nonprofit. You can RSVP here.
On Saturday, September 30th, the disc golf tournament will begin at 8 am at the Sewee Outpost. You can register for the disc golf tournament here.
