SeamonWhiteside Commemorates Over 2,000 Projects in the Upstate
Press Release
SeamonWhiteside (SW+), a full-service site design firm with offices throughout the Carolinas, is proud to celebrate two major anniversaries at its Greenville and Spartanburg locations. The Greenville office marks 21 successful years, and the Spartanburg location commemorates five years in the Upstate. These milestones are a testament to SeamonWhiteside’s unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding service and solutions for its clients and surrounding community.
“We are extremely proud of the impactful work our teams in Greenville and Spartanburg have completed while positively influencing the Upstate community,” says Russ Seamon, President of SeamonWhiteside. “Both offices have been a driving force in shaping the landscape of the Upstate and expanding our footprint, collectively completing over 2,000 projects.”
This year, the Greenville office relocated to a new space in the Judson Mill District, located at 701 Easley Bridge Road, to support the firm’s growth and expansion. Over the past two decades, the Greenville team has added 53 new talented individuals and completed over 1,900 projects. From civil engineering, land planning, master planning, landscape architecture and more, the SW+ team has played an integral role in the growth of this Upstate community. Recent notable projects include Greenville County Square and Jackson Way, both helping to beautify and bring the community together in downtown Greenville.
Located at 104 N. Daniel Morgan Avenue, SeamonWhiteside opened its Spartanburg office in September 2018 to expand services in the Upstate. The impact in the community has been vast over the last five years, particularly in the K-12 space. Three notable K-12 projects include Tyger River Elementary School, Abner Creek Middle School, and Wellford Academy of Science & Technology. With these completions, SW+’s efforts will increase the school district population, address traffic flow concerns, and offer new complexes for students in the 2024 school year. Throughout the last five years, the firm has added multiple employees and has completed more than 120 projects in the Spartanburg office. Most recently, this local team successfully completed the expansion of the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Travelers Rest, SC, extending the well-known trail system for the community to enjoy.
