Firefly Distillery Announces Inaugural Fall Food Truck “Feastival” in October

Published

on

Firefly Distillery will host their inaugural Fall Food Truck Feastival on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from noon until 4 pm. The fall-themed, family-friendly event is free to attend and will feature 25 food trucks, with fare ranging from seafood to brunch and southern comfort food to healthy eats. Firefly will also have a local pop-up market, music by DJ Cabana Vibez, and craft cocktails for purchase.

“With our team producing this inaugural event, we are hoping to open the doors to a wide variety of trucks and visitors,” said Scott Newitt, co-founder of Firefly Distillery. “It’s a great time of year to enjoy our outdoor field, bring the community together and support local trucks and vendors while exploring new flavors.”

Similar to past food truck festivals at Firefly Distillery, an array of local food trucks will take over the newly expanded five-acre field. On Firefly’s Back Porch, DJ Cabana Vibez will be playing tunes from noon to 4 pm. Craft cocktails, including signature and seasonal, will be available for purchase in the Tasting Room.

Attendees can enjoy food truck fare on the field and are encouraged to bring chairs, pop-up tables, blankets, or lawn games to spread out. New for this event, Firefly will stream college football games on TVs and projectors both inside and outside of the distillery.

Food vendors and trucks participating in the free Saturday event include:
  • Millers All Day
  • & Lobster
  • Smash City Burgers
  • Daddy’s Breakfast + Espresso
  • Bangin’ Vegan Eats
  • La’Son Food Truck

  • Chowbella
  • The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar
  • The Holy City Cupcakes

In addition to the food truck showcase, the distillery will offer a local market on the Front Porch with vendors including The Sparkle Bar, Goldbird Collective, Cinder + Loam, Po Girlz, and Magari Boutique.

For the event, Firefly Distillery will open at 12 pm and offer seasonal and craft cocktails and beer for purchase until 6 pm. Outside food, drinks, coolers, and dogs will need to stay at home. Parking is limited onsite, so Uber and Lyft are highly encouraged, and the distillery asks that all guests be respectful of neighboring businesses.

Firefly Distillery is located at 4201 Spruill Avenue and is currently open Monday through Saturday from 12 pm – 6 pm, offering tastings and cocktails with live music and food trucks on Saturdays. For more information about the distillery or upcoming events, visit fireflydistillery.com.
