Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation Makes a Donation in Honor of Hunger Action Month
The Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation today announced a donation to the Lowcountry Food Bank. This gift of $30,000 will be used where the Food Bank needs it most to support feeding programs, equipment purchases, special projects, agency expansions, or anything that helps grow their work.
“Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation is delighted to commemorate Hunger Action Month 2023 with our second annual and largest donation to Lowcountry Food Bank,” said Pat Walker, Board Chair of Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation. “Our investment in the work of Lowcountry Food Bank will help ensure that neighbors who experience food insecurity in the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina have access to nutritious food. This donation would not be possible without our supporters who are investing in the future!”
Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation’s mission is to provide a consistent and sustainable source of funding to support Lowcountry Food Bank. Supporters can participate this Hunger Action Month by investing in the Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation.
