Dorchester County Announces Salvation Army Angel Tree Sign Up Locations

This year, Dorchester County is partnering with the Salvation Army and their Angel Tree program to create more opportunities for Dorchester County families to become involved. Through this program, each child will receive three items of clothing that their parents and/or guardians have requested as well as three new toys from the child’s wish list.
Dorchester County residents can sign up for the Angel Tree Program at the following locations:
- Wednesday, October 4th from 12 pm – 4 pm, Town of Ridgeville, 105 School Street
- Thursday, October 5th from 4 pm – 7 pm, St. George Library, 506 N. Parler Avenue
- Saturday, October 7th from 10 am – 1 pm, Summerville Library, 76 Old Trolley Road
Please note that the Salvation Army requires the following documents to qualify:
1. State issued ID confirming Dorchester County residency.
2. Original birth certificate or passport for children 12 years old and under on Christmas Day. Medicaid cards with date of births are also accepted.
3. September 2023 EBT printout or current 6-month recert. EBT cards, online apps, and texts will not be accepted.
4. If EBT information is not available, please provide proof of ALL household income and ALL household expenses. Must be on paper as Apps will not be accepted.
