The Beach Company Supports 2023 Rose Ball as Gold Benefactor
Press Release
The Beach Company, a Charleston-based full-service real estate firm, announced the company’s participation as a gold benefactor, donating $12,500 to the 27th Rose Ball, Greenville’s longest-running charitable event that benefits the physical, emotional, educational and cultural needs of the community. The biennial event took place on September 22 at the Poinsett Club.
Founded by Mrs. Charles M. Daniel and Mrs. Ellison S. McKissick, the Rose Ball features more than 4,000 roses and provides funding for multiple charitable organizations. Over the past 47 years, the event has raised more than $4 million.
This year’s Rose Ball was attended by approximately 500 of Greenville’s business and community leaders who enjoyed a memorable evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing.
“We are honored to have been a part of this year’s Rose Ball and contribute to such a worthy cause,” says Dan Doyle, COO of The Beach Company. “The Beach Company has a longstanding commitment and tradition of giving back to the communities in which we work, and we are proud to support so many of Greenville’s most impactful and deserving charitable organizations.”
Bon Secours St. Francis Health System received 50% of the Rose Ball’s net proceeds to bolster its Cancer Program and the remaining 50% were donated to the following beneficiaries: Cancer Society of Greenville County, Conestee Nature Preserve, Fostering Great Ideas, Greenville Free Medical Clinic, Greenville Literacy Association, Greenville Tech Foundation, Habitat for Humanity Greenville County, OnTrack Greenville, RIZE Prevention, Roper Mountain Science Center, Safe Harbor, The Children’s Museum of the Upstate, The Family Effect, United Ministries and Washington High School Alumnae Association.
