I Serve With Joy Reboots Healthy Community Campaign with “The Big 7 Community Giveaway Day”

Jefferson Award-Winning I Serve With Joy (ISWJ) announces the relaunch of their Healthy Community Campaign with their Big 7 Giveaway Day providing essential items including N95 masks, baby clothing, shoes and hygiene items to those in need on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Citadel Mall (2070 Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, Charleston) near the Planet Fitness entrance.

A line-up of fun activities include music, games, contests, gift card giveaways, food samples, vendors, a kid’s corner and more. This is a dedicated effort to create a positive impact, spread joy and safeguard the Lowcountry while celebrating the organization’s 7th anniversary of generosity and community spirit.

“As the Holidays grow near and the weather continues to change, many suffer with allergies, respiratory infections, COVID and more,” says I Serve With Joy Executive Director Joy Campbell. “We want to protect our community, stop the spread of illnesses and reach our goal of providing 50,000 masks along with other essentials. We’ve already given away 10,000 masks to rural communities like St. Stephens, Pineville and Charleston.”

I Serve With Joy has tirelessly accepted items from generous warehouses, big-box corporations and renowned stores. Partners like trusted healthcare provider Humana Healthy Horizon, our host site Citadel Mall, Bundles of Joy diaper bank, Frazier Law Offices and South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs helped make this event possible.

Attendees will have the chance to win fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses, retailers and sponsors.
