HALO Premieres “Rigoletto” at Festival Hall in November
On November 1st, 3rd, and 5th, Holy City Arts & Lyric Opera (HALO) will be showcasing “Rigoletto,” their first, large-scale production of the season at Festival Hall.
“Rigoletto” is a compelling adaptation of Giuseppe Verdi’s classic work, revolving around a college basketball coach, his players, and their mascot. “Rigoletto” delves into the depths of human cruelty, betrayal and the tragic consequences of unchecked power. A sporting event frenzy paired with phenomenal vocal artistry, this production makes for an immersive theatrical experience that is perfect for sports fans and theater aficionados alike.
The show stars Paul La Rosa in the title role, Goose Creek native Ashley Fabian as the ill-fated daughter Gilda, and Christopher Bozeka as the debonair Duke. More details on the upcoming performances can be found here.
