Soul/R&B artist Mike Brown and Acoustic Folk musician Mike Kaufman Announce Concert at Fox Music House

Fox Music House will host the third in a series of cross-genre concerts on Friday, November 3rd at 8 pm. Headlining will be the 2020 Soul/R&B Artist of the Year, Mike Brown, along with his band, One Nation. Opening will be singer/songwriter/fingerstyle guitarist Mike Kaufman. Kaufman will be joined by guitarist David George Sink. bassist John F. Kennedy, and rapper Sxvxnt.
“The whole idea of these shows is to bring people with different styles and backgrounds together, both on stage and in the audience,” said Kaufman. “The musicians know, as Sxvxnt says, that ‘good music finds good music.’”
Kaufman continued, “we love doing these shows at Fox because there is a lack of listening rooms in Charleston. There are plenty of places to go see live music in a raucous setting, and that’s cool, but there is something special in the connection music creates between artists and listeners. Fox Music House has a long tradition of service to the Charleston music community and the community at large; we are delighted to be a small part of that.”
