Soundwave Comics Announces Free Halloween Event on October 21st

Soundwave Comics announced a free Halloween themed event, SOUNDWAVE’S MONSTER MASH, taking place on Saturday, October 21st in Summerville (1448 Boone Hill Rd.). The event runs from 11 am to 7 pm.

This family-friendly, all ages event includes:

Guest of Honor Chuck Brown – an Eisner and Ringo Award winning writer based out of Columbia. He has written for major comics publishers like Marvel, DC, and Image Comics, and more. He is the co-creator of the comic book, Bitter Root, which has been optioned for feature film development by Legendary Entertainment with Marvel’s Black Panther director Ryan Coogler as producer.
Local artists and creators – Kelly Ochocki, Shawn Harding, and Wallace McBride. They will be in attendance selling their works and taking commissions
The event will feature 5 free Halloween themed comics per family (First come, first served while supplies last)
Soundwave will have a huge in-store sale on comic books, Funko pops, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and more
Food truck available from 11 am to 3 pm on the day of the event
Pictures will be taken throughout the day with a costume contest with prizes at 6 pm
