A new study by addiction specialists, The Diamond Rehab, has analyzed search volume data for multiple phrases, terms, and queries related to work-related burnout over the last 12 months to determine which states are the most relaxed. Using that method, the website found that South Carolina is the 5th most relaxed states.

Taking the top spot on the list of the most relaxed states is Mississippi, with a monthly search volume of 284 per 100,000 residents for burnout-related terms and phrases. “Depersonalisation” was by far the most searched term in Mississippi, with 4,970 monthly searches on average.

South Carolina secures fifth place, with 379 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents for work burnout-related terms and phrases. Like the previous entry, ‘Depersonalisation” is the most searched burnout-related keyword, averaging 11,160 searches a month.

Massachusetts proved to be the most burnt-out state, taking the last spot on the list with 690 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents for work burnout-related terms and phrases – over double that of first place Mississippi.
