City of Charleston Debuts New ‘TrashTracker’ Mobile App
The city of Charleston Environmental Services Division today announced the launch of ‘CHS TrashTracker,’ a new mobile app that delivers garbage, trash, and street sweeping service reminders to city residents via email, text message, and phone call.
The app allows users located within city limits to enter their street address and access their area’s garbage and trash collection schedules, which can then be printed or synced with Apple, Google, or Microsoft calendars.
In addition to regular service reminders, ‘CHS TrashTracker’ provides schedule change alerts and helpful information about other city services. The app also allows users to submit work order requests to various city departments.
“Here in the city, we’re committed to providing our residents with the highest quality service possible,” said Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg. “And the launch of this new mobile app is the latest example of our ongoing efforts to make city programs – and the teams that deliver them – more efficient, reliable and accessible than ever.”
‘CHS TrashTracker’ is now available for download on Apple or Android smartphones.
