Press Release

Solt Wellness, a wellness center in Charleston, is thrilled to announce its official opening party scheduled for October 26, 2023. Owned by Fiona Scott, a passionate advocate for holistic health, Solt Wellness aims to provide a range of natural therapies with physical, mental and spiritual benefits that leave you feeling rested, relaxed, and restored.

Solt Wellness, located at 137A President Street, is designed as a space where guests can get away from the modern stressors of life. Walking in, the subtle scent of the burning candle, the calming music, the beautiful aesthetics and the welcoming smile, you naturally relax and exhale. The environment and therapies transport you to a more calm and peaceful place.

The center offers a range of services not found under one roof anywhere else in the area, including a Himalayan salt room, infrared saunas, float pod, red light therapy, meditation pod, skin care, and bodywork. Benefits include detoxification, relief of muscle and joint pain, reduced stress and anxiety, increased energy, strengthened immunity, improved skin, and better sleep.

Born in Hong Kong to Scottish parents, Fiona Scott has a diverse background in sports development, health and fitness management, and a decade-long experience in luxury resort development across the globe. In 2007, Fiona was diagnosed with a chronic lung condition, leading to frequent hospitalizations. She discovered the power of holistic health when combining traditional treatments with natural therapies. Her own transformative experience in a salt room during her travels inspired the creation of Solt Wellness.

The busyness of work and life can make it hard to prioritize self care but it has a habit of catching up with you one way or another. Solt Wellness and its therapies support wellness and prevention, and can also be used alongside traditional medicines.

Solt Wellness is building on their foundation of therapies by offering practitioner-led events such as guided meditations, Reiki, sound and vibration, and slow flow yoga, all within the healing aura of the salt room. Post class tea and conversation is highly encouraged!

The opening celebration on October 26th promises to be a memorable event, offering guided tours, therapy demonstrations, complimentary consultations, and exclusive opening discounts. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and learn about the diverse range of holistic therapies.
