Akers Ellis Real Estate is pleased to announce that it has had the  distinct privilege of representing the Kiawah Conservancy in their successful acquisition of two remarkable properties on Johns Island, 4368 Betsy Kerrison Parkway and 4346 Betsy Kerrison Parkway. These acquisitions are a significant step toward the preservation of the area’s natural beauty and  ecological integrity.

The two properties, totaling 16.32 acres in size, are not just any pieces of land; they are integral parts of John Island’s environmental heritage. 4346 Betsy Kerrison Parkway boasts a sprawling 13.32 acres, while 4368 Betsy Kerrison Parkway, the former home of Rosebank Farms, encompasses 3 acres of land.

In addition to their representation in this acquisition, Akers Ellis Real Estate has gone a step further to support the Kiawah Conservancy’s mission. The company is thrilled to announce the donation of the entirety of its real estate commissions from this transaction, amounting to $61,500, to the Kiawah Conservancy. This generous contribution will help further the Conservancy’s efforts in preserving and  protecting the natural resources and wildlife habitats on Kiawah Island.

The Kiawah Conservancy, committed to the long-term preservation of Kiawah Island’s unique and irreplaceable environment, has expressed its profound gratitude for Akers Ellis Real Estate’s partnership  and dedication to this cause. These donations and acquisitions are pivotal steps towards ensuring the continued sustainability and conservation of the surrounding islands’ exceptional landscapes.

Through the acquisition of these properties, the Kiawah Conservancy has ensured that they will be preserved in perpetuity, allowing future generations to appreciate the natural beauty and ecological diversity that the area has to offer. The properties will contribute significantly to the ongoing  conservation efforts on and off the island and support the broader mission of the Kiawah Conservancy.

Akers Ellis Real Estate is proud to be a part of this meaningful conservation initiative and is committed to supporting the community in which they operate. They look forward to more opportunities to collaborate with the Kiawah Conservancy in the future, contributing to the ongoing preservation of the  Sea Islands.
